Election

You may submit an absentee request at My Vote Wisconsin(click on Vote Absentee at the top of the website). Or, you may send a written request that includes:

  • Name
  • Madison address
  • Address to which the ballot should be mailed
  • Signature
  • Copy of voter ID, if not already on file in Clerk’s Office

In-person absentee voting begins two weeks before Election Day. It ends the Sunday before each election. State law prohibits voter registration the Saturday, Sunday, or Monday before each election.

You will need to show ID to receive an absentee ballot. You may register to vote, with proof of address, at any absentee voting location. There is no voter registration the Saturday, Sunday, or Monday before Election Day.

In-person absentee voting for the November 5 General Election begins Tuesday, October 22.  The Town of Harrison offers in-person absentee voting by appointment with Town Clerk only.
